Memories and Inspiration

My early biking years were spent (as most other peoples) riding every spare minute of every day, there were different heroes at different times, but one person that was always up there was JMC. I only met him on a couple of occasions when I worked at Northwest as a kid, but I've still got my signed picture framed on the wall... 'To Kevin, stay fast... Jason McRoy'

To this day he remains an inspiration!

I never met him I wish I had, I bought my second mountainbike, a Specialized Rockhopper, the week before he was killed!
In the passing years I have bought and sold many bikes, but the Specialized is still there.

I'm still riding specialized now. I always will. May seem sad but I followed JMC's racin so much and copied his style as a youngster, dont think i can change.
