I am not a biker nor into the sport but I have just read Jason's story and it was very moving! I live in Manchester and met my girlfriend in Nottingham over 3yrs ago, so I have passed the memorial many many times and always wondered who Jason was and what had happened to him!
I mainly took interest as we share the same name as I don't know any other Jason's. Everytime I drove (and drive) past, I always wave and say 'Hi Jay'! I don't know why, but I always have! Its taken me 3yrs of doing that to remember to look him up and visit this website and I wish I would have visited sooner.
Therefore I just feel I have to leave a message on this site out of respect and admaration. I will be waving and saying hi to Jason this Saturday on my way to Notts ... this time will be different though, as now I know him.
Nice one Jay!
